Greg has completed a fitting & turning apprenticeship and has an Advanced Diploma in Fluid Power (RMIT). Greg worked in the automotive industry in maintenance and quality control roles before moving into fluid power sales 20 years ago.

Cam Riddle

SALES MANAGER

Cam has a background in heavy mobile equipment engineering. Cam completed his Advanced Trade as a Fitter and Turner with Tranzrail during which time he gained experience in hydraulic equipment installation and servicing. After spending 2 1/2 years as Aucklands Service Manager, Cam moved into a sales engineering position until late 2011 when he took up the Sales Manager position in our Melbourne branch.

Mark Newstead

SALES ENGINEER

Mark has been in the Fluid power industry for 20 years. Originally, completing a fitting and turning apprenticeship and working as a hydraulics fitter. He then qualified with a certificate of technology in fluid power and certificate in small business. Experience includes service technician, internal sales and external sales and system design in mobile, agricultural, industrial and marine applications.

James West

SALES ENGINEER

James Initially trained in the Royal New Zealand Air force gaining National Certificates in Aeronautical engineering and Aircraft servicing. Having gained over 13 years engineering experience both domestic and internationally, 2 of which employed at Marshall Aerospace Uk and 8 years at Air New Zealand. James joined Hyspecs NZ in August 2010 and moved to the Australian branch at the end of 2011.

Shane D'Costa

SERVICE ENGINEER

Shane has more than 17 years of experience in mobile & industrial hydraulics, welding & fabrication. Manufacturing tailor-made hydraulic power units are his specialty. He has extensive exposure in repair and fault finding, and assisting design teams especially for equipment designed and built in-house, e.g. thrust boring systems, hydraulic booms, cylinders for work-over rigs etc. He has worked in the Middle East and Australia in various capacities within the hydraulics service environment.

Sophie Chippindall

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Sophie has several years experience in Office/Project Administration, retail management and recruitment, Most recently Sophie's background was within a road construction company.

Caleb Shand

Workshop Assistant / Storeman

Since joining Hyspecs in August 2012 Caleb has quickly become a valued member of the team. His willingness to learn and easy going manner has made him a good fit.

Having no experience in the engineering field has not held him back as he assists in producing high quality work in the workshop, while also maintaining the store on a part time basis.
